Army Recruitment Rally is being organized from 04 Jan 2013 to 10 Jan 2013 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Cuttack.Screening of local youth of Odisha during Recruitment Rally at Cuttack in Jan 2013 for identification of suitable candidates for enrolment in Indian Army as Soldier will be carried out as per schedule given at Appendix 'A'
Eligibility Criteria.
(a) Recruitment into Army is carried out as per stipulated Physical,Educational and Medical Standards for enrolment of suitable candidates in Indian
Army as Soldier (General Duty), Soldier (Technical), Soldier (Nursing Assistant)and Soldier (Clerk/ Storekeeper), which are available over website of Indian Army (www.indianarmy.nic.in) and are also displayed at ARO Cuttack.
It has been experienced that a large number of candidates who do not meet the laid down eligibility criteria for recruitment in Army, invariably come for the rally, due to lack of publicity of eligibility criteria for recruitment in Army. Suchcandidates get rejected in the preliminary stages of screening during Recruitment Rally, whereby they get disheartened and demoralized. You are, therefore, requested to arrange wide publicity about important aspects of Eligibility Conditions including Age Criteria and Minimum Educational Qualifications for Enrolment of Soldiers in Indian Army given at Appendix 'B'.
